Deb Lyman
Psychotherapist - LCSW
I work with people of all genders and orientations who are successful in many areas of life yet feel anxious, self-critical, or overwhelmed. Perhaps you have
been recently rocked by a sudden loss, unexpected failure, or significant betrayal, or are at a turning point in a significant relationship, or are struggling with a difficult person in your life. Or maybe you are just done with having an unfriendly relationship with yourself.
I know how hard it can be to reach out for help when you may be used to handling things on your own. I also deeply know that therapy can help you
•Become more effective in dealing with the the challenges life inevitably brings
•Feel more confident, resilient, and able to enjoy the richness of your life
•Enjoy closeness and connection with your partner without losing yourself
•Tame your inner critic and nurture a more compassionate inner dialogue
I believe there is incredible power in being witnessed and having a companion in the process of self-exploration. I value authenticity, practicality, and humor, and bring all of these to my work, along with many years of clinical training. I am also influenced by my practice of Vipassana (mindfulness) meditation.
