Dave Cazeau
Licensed Clinical Social Worker -
As a Black male therapist, I am deeply committed to fostering an environment of understanding, acceptance, and growth for all my clients. My journey in the field of mental health has been shaped by my personal experiences, cultural background, and the resilience I have witnessed in individuals who face adversity.
I firmly believe in the inherent potential within each individual and the transformative power of empathy and understanding. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the principles of person-centered therapy, which emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship, unconditional positive regard, and the client’s autonomy.
In my practice, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. I understand that each client’s experiences are unique, and I tailor my approach to meet their specific needs and goals.
As a Black therapist, I bring a unique perspective to my practice. I understand the complexities of navigating life as a Black man in America, and I am committed to addressing the impact of systemic racism, discrimination, and social injustice on mental health. I am dedicated to supporting my clients as they navigate these challenges and work towards healing and growth.
My mission as a therapist is to empower individuals to realize their full potential, overcome obstacles, and live a fulfilling life. I am committed to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive, and person-centered care to all my clients.
