Danna Cooperberg
Mental Health Counselor - LPCC
My clients often come to me feeling lost, overwhelmed, and unsure. Many identify with ideas like depression, anxiety, disordered eating, or relationship difficulties, but others find themselves experiencing challenges that may be more difficult to describe. I only ask my clients to enter with a curiosity that can be mutually explored. My role is to create a space of safety and openness that helps you locate the parts of yourself that may previously have remained quiet and hidden and allow these insights to foster healing.
I believe that mental health is a product of the whole self, extending beyond just mind and body but to the creative, intuitive, and spiritual aspects of our being. Through dynamic explorations of these topics and movement toward deep self-understanding, I believe that we can align with our most authentic selves. Working from a psychodynamic lens, I look to explore the present with particular attention paid to how our histories, relationships, and unconscious wishes and fears shape our world.
Through this work and the collaborative development of the tools you need, my goal is that you can find yourself with a sense of increased peace, capacity, and potential. You have taken the first step. It would be an honor to walk with you on this journey.
