Dana McNeil
Marriage & Family Therapist - LMFT, MA
My clients tell me I’m warm and friendly, easy to talk to, accepting, and non-judgmental. My goal in therapy with you is to provide a safe space for you to be yourself, help you discover your strengths, and help you develop insight and acceptance of life lessons in given situations.
I love working with couples, LBGTQIA clients, addiction recovery, anxiety, and partners of sex/porn addicts. I provide psychotherapy for couples, families, and individuals.
Let’s look at the frightening parts of your life that you have hidden or haven’t been able to look at before. I am here to support you and walk with you on your journey.I provide psychotherapy for couples, families, and individuals.
The style of therapy I practice with couples is an internationally used evidence based style of therapy known as Gottman Method Couples Therapy. This evidence based practice utilizes a concept known as the Sound Relationship House which focuses on nine areas of relationship work. Couples and I work together on providing a stronger sense of what our partner’s needs are, creating shared meanings, working out issues around conflict, trust and commitment.
I also work with individuals who are on their journey of recovery from addiction. Often I work with clients who are family members or partners of addicted individuals to provide them a safe place to process feelings and changes that arise from the process of recovery.
I am a member of IATP (International Association of Trauma Professionals). I have many evidence based tools I can provide to help you find a way to ground yourself when recovering from Trauma, Grief, or Loss.
Give me a call so we can have a free 15 minute consultation and see if we are good fit for each other. I look forward to meeting with you and supporting you on your journey.
