Daisy Gomez
Psychological Associate -
I am a psychological associate and currently accepting clients in my private practice. I believe that psychotherapy is a collaborative process. It is essential for clients to feel they can be their authentic selves while reflecting on their strengths and bringing awareness to their vulnerabilities and needs. I have extensive training in working with children, adolescents, and parents and understand private school systems as a School Counselor. I use evidence-based modalities: Psychodynamic approach, Violet Oaklander’s Gestalt and Play Therapy Model, art therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness meditation.I specialize in working with children, adolescents, college/graduate students, and adults through life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, peer relationships, school challenges, relationship distress, and mood disorders. I provide individual psychotherapy and collaborate with parents when providing services to minors.I view every client as unique and tailor treatment based on individual needs and strengths. I look forward to speaking with you.
