My practice is focused on working with adults who experience issues with anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and/or who want support in addressing traumatic life experiences, including posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Developing healthy coping skills, addressing relationship issues, and improving self-esteem are others aspects of therapy that I will support you with. I will help you understand how we all have the capacity and ability to heal and change. I have been working in mental health services since 2006 and so bring extensive knowledge and experience into the psychotherapy room.
I use a variety of approaches that are evidence-based including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I will also help you understand the impact of childhood on your adult life and guide you to learn skills to build self-confidence.
