Psychologist - PhD
*Not currently accepting new clients**I offer hipaa-compliant video sessions to people living in Washington State* Being human can be painful and hard. Much of life is outside of our control and can feel scary and overwhelming. I provide a safe place to explore these issues while helping you to identify and access your inner strengths and resources for healing and growth. I will help you get unstuck and find your flow! I specialize in working with people dealing with depression, stress and overwhelm, poor boundaries, and transition and adjustment issues. I help clients decrease and manage mood symptoms, develop self-compassion and self-worth, increase self-care, and build healthy relationships to improve overall wellbeing and quality of life.
I have insight and understanding treating people who deal with issues relating to frequent moves and relocations, including people who identify as Expats/Immigrants, Global Nomads, Third Culture Kids, and Cross Culture Kids. I, myself, have dual nationality with the United States and the United Kingdom and I lived internationally as a youth for 15 years, attending International or American schools in France, Scotland, England, Thailand, Malaysia, and Venezuela.
I continue personal work to become more aware of my privilege and internalized racism and prejudices. I aim to provide a safe, welcoming space for all people regardless of race, ancestry (national origin), gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, religious or spiritual beliefs, age, disability, body size, etc.
