Hello and welcome. My name is Cherisse Kovacs. Sometimes life gets hard and problems can feel overwhelming and difficult to handle. Therapy provides the space to explore these issues, so you can create new meanings, hope and new beginnings. At Innate Freedom Counselling, you are believed to have the inner capacity to heal, thrive and grow, and reach your full potential. My role is to work alongside you in partnership, providing a warm, supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences, and create meaningful change in your life.
I specialize in working with individuals struggling to overcome anxiety, depression, grief, and anger. I am also familiar with trauma in the context of systemic injustice and oppression. Counselling sessions occur through a secure, online platform, or by phone. This allows convenient access to online counselling support from your own environment.
I am passionate about building a therapeutic alliance with my clients, so they feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences.
