Cindy Kao

Licensed Mental Health Professional - PsyD, LPC -

Sometimes our lives are going fine – until they aren’t. It takes courage to recognize when you need help and it isn’t easy to take those first steps towards a happier and more fulfilling life. I am here to support and empower you if you are ready to take that step. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in an authentic connection between client and therapist, the power to change ourselves, and treating every person with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe that our first models of how to behave and think often begin in our childhood and sometimes we struggle to relearn a better way to cope with our world. I look forward to working with you!
