Christina Tesoro
Licensed Master Social Worker -
My name is Christina. I’m a writer, holistic sex educator, and pleasure-focused therapist. I work from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective; as such, I strive to gently but directly confront toxic shame by contextualizing our coping mechanisms as examples of our bodies’ incredible resiliency & drive to keep us safe.
Harm lives in our bodies, and healing, therefore, must be embodied, too. My approach is to move with you toward an integration of mind-body healing, exploring the ways we might use creative self-expression and intentional relationships in order to live more authentic, joyful, and embodied lives. With warmth and patience, I seek to help you identify and unlearn harmful cultural conditioning and, with the courage of authenticity, uncover your own innate wisdom. I welcome your feedback, and will always hold central to my practice that I am not the expert in your life and your healing, you are.
