Christina Lucey-Ventura
Marriage and Family Therapist -
I am a compassionate, client-centered, and non-judgmental therapist who works with individuals of all ages, couples, families, and groups. My hope is to create a space for you to feel truly safe and supported while having your multilayered experiences in life honored, validated & understood. My general approach to therapy is multi-disciplinary, combining psychodynamic techniques, attachment-based, and trauma-informed therapy. I am also trained in EMDR and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT).
Prior to receiving my MA in Clinical Psychology, I received a degree in Cultural Anthropology from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, where I focused my research on immigration policy, the dismantling of racism/ethnophobia, feminist theory & LGBTQI+ affirmative social action.
Leading up to my work in the social sciences, I worked as an artist and designer, and continue to enjoy weaving concepts around the creative process into my work with clients therapeutically when fitting. Feel free to send me an email or give me a call at any time and we can set up a complimentary phone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!
