Cheryl Clementson
Marriage & Family Therapist -
Welcome! It takes a lot of courage to reach out and begin (or restart) the journey of therapy but how do you even choose a therapist? Sometimes it’s a referral from a friend, sometimes it’s reading someone’s info and thinking they seem like someone you would feel comfortable sitting down with and talking to, or maybe just thinking their picture makes them appear kind and approachable. From my own experience, I know it can be so hard to reach out and just start the process, so if you’re here and browsing , you are brave and taking the first important step to find someone that is a good fit. Ultimately, you want to feel safe, seen, and heard.Therapy is such a unique and personal journey built on trust. As a therapist, I strive to provide a safe space that is emotionally supportive and affirming for you and together we will work on your goals. My style is kind, caring, and nurturing. I believe healing happens in relationship and therefore the relationship really is the foundation for healing, growth and change to occur. I look forward to speaking with you if you think we might be a good fit.
