Chelsea O'Day-Navis (she/her)

Contemplative Psychotherapist -

As a psychotherapist specialized in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology, I will guide you through difficult experiences with mindfulness and curiosity. I offer a culturally sensitive, integrative, and trauma-informed space where complexity and diversity are valued. Discovering, recovering, and welcoming your whole self is promoted when we are together. We will find creative ways to expand your ability to feel, identify, manage, understand, and express your emotions with authenticity. We will explore patterns that you feel stuck in, and I will be right beside you as we find out how to get un-stuck at your own pace.

I blend Eastern and Western Psychology to assist clients with connecting to their innate nature of aliveness, clarity, and wellness. Our work together may include talk therapy, meditation, working with thought patterns, brain science, and psycho-education. My aim is to assist you with loving yourself unconditionally; finding joy, ease, humor, and change. I would love to hear from you and answer any questions you might have about my approach to therapy.

While my approach is anti-racist and anti-oppressive, I understand that this does not dismiss the differences we may have. I am dedicated to talking about, working with, and leaning into discussions around power, privilege, bias, and oppression with my clients.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation for you to see if I am a good fit for you at this time in your life. These are challenging times right now in this world. Not only is it brave, but reaching out for support is a healthy response to stress. Take care!
