Charlotte Merrill

Licensed Professional Counselor -

Hello, I’m Charlotte! I’m a Colorado native, and grew up in the metro area. I attended Fort Lewis College in Durango where I received my Bachelors degree in Art in 2012. I continued my education with a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University, completed in 2019. I have a passion for creating things and I love to incorporate the therapeutic qualities of art whenever appropriate into my counseling practice. As an Air Force veterans’ spouse, I enjoy working with service members and/or dependents and understand the many complex issues related to military life/service.As a mom of 4, I also enjoy working with clients on a variety of issues relating to pregnancy, infertility, parenting, and the stresses that come with. I work primarily with individual adults. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches but tend to lean on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Strengths based approaches. I enjoy helping my clients to recognize their strengths and using them to make positive changes in their life.
