Cassandra Goojha
Licensed Clinical Social Worker -
Hello and welcome!
I am a psychotherapist licensed in New York (LCSW) and Massachusetts (LICSW) with over ten years of experience as a psychotherapist and social worker in NYC. I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from New York University and Bachelors in Psychology from The New School.
I have experience supporting clients through a wide range of issues, including trauma, depression, grief, self-esteem, OCD, relationship dynamics, and life transitions. In addition, I am a particularly passionate about working with individuals who have been diagnosed with anxiety. I take an integrative and personalized approach. I believe a positive and supportive relationship with a therapist can help us gain insight, develop self-compassion, and navigate the challenges of life.
I provide in-depth talk therapy and integrate techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness practices. I will follow your lead and work with you to develop goals for therapy. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Through talking together we can identify patterns of behavior that may no longer be serving you and consider various strategies to address the challenge you’re facing. My goal is to support you in creating an enriching and fulfilling life based on your values. I am a trauma-informed, social justice oriented, and LGBTQIA+ affirming provider.
