Carolyn Mehlomakulu
Psychotherapist & Art Therapist - LMFT-S, ATR-BC
Depression, anxiety, and trauma can make you feel like you are no longer yourself and like every day is a challenge to get through. It can be helpful to have someone to listen, explore with you, and provide support. If you or your child are feeling sad, anxious, or stressed, therapy can help you heal and move forward.
My approach to therapy is to give you or your child a safe space to express yourself, be in touch with your emotions, build on your strengths, learn new ways of coping, and change unhelpful thinking patterns.
For those that are interested, Art Therapy can be an additional tool to help you to gain new insights and express yourself through creativity. I also use play therapy approaches to help children be more comfortable and engaged.
