Carolyn Hanesworth
Clinical Social Worker - Phd, LCSW
I believe therapy should be straightforward, and lead to you feeling better as soon as possible. My job is to create a space where you feel understood, accepted, and safe to explore whatever is troubling you, at your own pace. Depression and anxiety are normal responses to stress and trauma, and there are many things we can do right away to begin to alleviate symptoms. It is important that you have an opportunity to share your story (to the extent that you wish to), and at the right time we will shift to the here and now, with an orientation towards the future and how you see yourself in it. I provide teletherapy only, and am licensed in two states. If you live anywhere in NY or Texas, I can offer you therapy online.
