Candace Holloman
Counselor -
We often hear all of the beautiful things about becoming a mother and how incredibly rewarding it can be. And while those things are certainly true, the reality of being a mom in today’s world can also be overwhelming, scary, and even lonely at times. Along with joy and love, mothers can feel sadness, anxiety, anger, fear, shame, burnout, and isolation. My previous experience working with domestic violence, combined with my own difficulties adjusting to motherhood, has give me a passion for helping other mothers who are struggling. Working together, you will come to better understand yourself and your reality as a mother. My goal is to help you feel supported and to rediscover yourself outside of being a mom. I want to allow you to connect with your family in a healthier way, while also helping you to see that making time for yourself is important and OK! I will show you that there IS a light at the end of the tunnel, and I will guide you through this trying time in your life in a way that makes you feel calmer, happier, and more fulfilled as a person AND as a mother.
