LPC Intern (supervised by Tara Sanderson, PsyD) - MS, NCC, LPC-Intern
Many caregivers and helping professionals feel overwhelmed because they focus so much of their energy on others that they forget to take time for themselves. I am a mental health counselor who can take you from feeling burned out to feeling more balanced as you practice better self-care. My approach is solution focused to help you identify your strengths and focus on working toward your goals. During counseling sessions you will have the opportunity to tell your story in a safe space. As a respectful listener, I can help you find opportunities to grow and create a new story. I often use mindfulness exercises to help you reduce stress and improve your work-life balance. We may also focus on creating healthy boundaries, helping you focus on your values instead of feeling like you are losing yourself in relationships.
As an LPC-Intern I am under the supervision of Tara Sanderson, PsyD.
