I am a licensed clinical social worker who provides client-centered individual and family therapy, and have been working with children and families for the past 10 years. My primary goal as a therapist is to provide a safe space for my clients to process themes and experiences that have deeply impacted their lives. I support my clients in identifying purposeful goals and working towards growth and healing. I have a special interest in working with individuals and families who have been affected by significant illness/health concerns, and I have worked with the National Organization for Rare Disorders in facilitating patient/caregiver processing groups around the country. In addition, I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and adjusting to change. I recognize the intrinsic interrelatedness of physical and emotional health, and believe in treating the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. I use an eclectic approach in my practice, which may include motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, family systems therapy, and cognitive behavioral and solution-focused interventions
