Audrey Trottier
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist -
Curiosity can lead to deeper connection with ourselves and in our relationships. My goal in therapy is to provide a confidential space that allows you the time and safety to explore, be curious, and make meaningful change. I believe that there is strength in being intentionally aware and curious about your challenges, your achievements, and the invisible things that guide your actions and thoughts. I also believe that acceptance and staying present are superpowers that are within our reach!I want to know about you, what unique challenges you are facing and what ideals you aspire to.
I am curious about what is motivating you to take the time to truly understand your thoughts, needs, and challenges. I view our relationship as a partnership, together we will explore your goals and create a plan that works for you. We will be able to meet in person or via telehealth depending on your comfort level and preference.
I have been practicing Marriage and Family therapy since 2019. I have worked with transitional age youth, young adults, couples, and older adults. I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at The University of San Diego. I utilize techniques from several different theories; Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I also have an interest in Internal Family Systems. Most of all, I want to utilize the approach that best suits your needs. I offer individuals, couples, and family therapy to support treatment of a variety of issues including grief, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions.
