Ashlyn Parks
Pre-Licensed Professional -
You deserve a space to feel safe, supported, and wholeheartedly accepted. My goal as a clinician is to hold a space that promotes comfort and growth. You are the only expert witness to your own experiences. I work from a trauma-informed approach, where each relationship is collaborative. Together we will identify your current struggles, create ways to overcome or accommodate these struggles, and build your self-efficacy and self-view.
My orientation focuses on meeting each person where they are, providing space for open-processing, psychoeducation towards internal processes and the body, mindfulness and radical self-acceptance. I have experience working in partial hospitalization treatment, outpatient treatment centers, and individually with adolescents and adults.
I hold a Kink-Informed Certification, and am a Board-Certified Music Therapist. I am currently in the process of completing my hourly requirement to become a licensed professional counselor.
