Ashley Gunderson
Psychotherapist -
Welcome. It takes a lot of courage to share your story and I admire you. One of my goals as a therapist is to create a warm and safe space. Creating a therapeutic alliance based on safety and trust is foundational for change and healing. I stand in openness and empathy towards my clients and encourage compassion and honesty as they look within and work at getting to know themselves and grow their capacity to think about their inner life.
I have experience working with individuals and families in various settings including residential rehabs, inpatient and outpatient with children and adults. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Relational, Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and is heavily influenced by British Object Relations, Attachment Theory, and Interpersonal Neurobiology.
While I specialize in mothers, infants and young children, I see individuals from all walks of life and all ages.
