April Wright
Psychotherapist and Sex Coach - LMFT
My philosophy working with adults, adolescents, couples, or groups is with the utmost compassion, empathy, and support. When such an environment is presented, it is my intent that you feel safe to explore patterns and negative self beliefs that may be holding you back from living within your true values. I offer guidance and tools to help you align your thoughts and behavior with your principles. I offer techniques to manage difficult emotions such as anger, anxiety, hopelessness, and ruminating depressing thoughts .
Awareness is the first ingredient to begin making changes. If you are looking into therapy, you could be experiencing an overwhelming siege of emotions, conflicting thoughts in your relationships, or acknowledging the loss of a loved one. It is normal to feel overwhelmed at times with the stresses of daily life, especially after traumatic incidents. The guidance and support of a professional can facilitate perseverance from such adversities.
My practice specializes in a mind-body-spiritual approach in relation to self, others, and society. You will begin to have awareness, understanding and more choices to create a sense of peace emotionally, socially, physiologically. You will develop greater tolerance for life stresses, increased patience in your relationships, and enhanced personal fulfillment.
