Therapist - LMHC NCC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH60702645) located in the Seattle Metropolitan area. I received my Master’s of Education in Community Counseling from Seattle University and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts with a focus on Criminal Justice Studies from San Francisco State University. I also studied Healthcare and Education Policy at the University of Uppsala in Sweden.
Research has shown that most important and vital part of treatment is the therapeutic relationship. I am focused on building a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients. I am skilled in a variety different counseling modalities and customize my approach to fit the needs of each individual. I frequently utilize Person-Centered Treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Reality Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. I have experience working with a variety of diverse clients and am committed to working diligently to help you grow and evolve to achieve success. My goal is to assist you in achieving your therapeutic goals at a pace that is comfortable for you, and within a time frame that meets your needs.
My approach is unique, as I believe you are more than your diagnosis and the hardships that you face. I believe in meeting my clients where they are currently at in their lives, and helping them create an achievable plan with tangible steps.
By focusing on the present, we can minimize the impact of the past, and get you to the future you want. I have a holistic approach that recognizes each of my client’s individual life experiences. It’s the growth and relationships that inspire me in my work. Through these shared experiences, we can achieve prosperity for your future.
