Hi! My name is Anna I have my Masters of Social Work from Metropolitan State University. In my therapeutic practice, I firmly believe in the transformative potential of a safe, empowering, and non-judgmental environment. I understand the therapeutic relationship can be a powerful catalyst for change, and I am dedicated to creating a space where clients feel supported, heard, and valued.Drawing on my background as a social worker, I employ a client-centered and strengths-based approach, recognizing the inherent strengths and wisdom within each individual and I work collaboratively to help them tap into these resources for personal growth and healing. With a genuine belief in the capacity for change, I work to empower my clients to engage with their inner strengths, fostering a sense of agency and confidence in their journey. My therapeutic toolkit includes evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (MBCBT), Trauma-Informed CBT, and Somatic Practice. By integrating these approaches, I seek to provide clients with practical tools and insights that facilitate self-discovery and promote positive change. I feel most passionate about work with individuals ages 14 – 50 who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issue, trauma, and self-image. I firmly believe in health at every size and am committed to creating a safe and intentional space to explore how anti-fat bias impacts the clients I see. When working with couples I am dedicated to helping couples enhance their connection through the Gottman Method. This evidence-based approach is ideal for couples eager to deepen their relationship, navigate conflicts effectively, and build a lasting bond. Whether you’re facing specific challenges or simply wish to enrich your partnership, my sessions provide tools and insights for every stage of your relationship. Ideal clients are those committed to growth, open to exploring their dynamics, and ready to embrace change for a stronger, more fulfilling connection.Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in moments spent with my beloved cats, getting lost in a good book, and being in the presence of good company. Whether it’s going for leisurely walks with friends or my spouse or immersing myself in the outdoors, I recognize the importance of self-care.
