Psychotherapist - LPCS
My approach depends on the needs of each person. Because the client-therapist relationships are foundational, I prioritize creating an atmosphere where people can feel comfortable talking about anything large or small. When people talk in therapy, they come to know themselves intimately and are able to discover what is at the root of painful thoughts, feelings and actions. When people feel accepted and fundamentally understood, deep seated issues are resolved. My integrative approach is based on the latest practices in modern analysis and informed by recent developments in affective neuroscience as well as orientations now replaying in trauma work, attachment theory, EFT and others. These are all relevant to how we struggle with crises and/or repetitive patterns that create blockage in our lives.
