Andrew Wilton

- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) & Psychotherapist -

I offer evidence-based, integrative psychotherapy for adults seeking clarity, resilience, and sustainable change. My work is grounded in modern psychological science while remaining deeply relational, collaborative, and responsive to the lived realities of adult life. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and motivated, yet feel stuck—whether due to anxiety, overthinking, burnout, low motivation, relationship challenges, or periods of transition. Therapy is not about fixing what’s “wrong,” but about understanding how patterns develop, how change actually happens, and how to move forward with greater intention and flexibility. My approach integrates cognitive and behavioral science, interpersonal theory, mindfulness-based practices, and strategic problem-solving. Rather than applying a rigid model, therapy is tailored to each person’s goals, values, and context. The work is structured without being rigid, supportive without being passive, and always grounded in real-world application. I believe therapy works best when it honors both the individual and the systems they live within. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to help you think more clearly, respond more flexibly, and build confidence in your own capacity for change. I work with individual adults and offer secure online therapy for clients located throughout New York State and Vermont.
