Andrew Amick
Psychotherapist - MA, AMFT
I’m an integrative LGBT psychotherapist living in and serving Southern California.
[[I’M CURRENTLY ACCEPTING CLIENTS VIA TELE-HEALTH ONLY AT THE MOMENT. I EXPECT A RETURN TO OFFICE IN 2021]]
Professionally, I’ve worked with LGBT clients, high school teenagers, partners recovering from relationships, artists and creatives, spiritual seekers, young professionals, college students and college graduates, actors, and other therapists. I am most sought after for my “holistic” and “person-centered” approach to helping people — meaning, I meet every person where they’re at, do not use a ‘one size fits all’ lens, and I tend to offer the greatest support in the broader aspects of life: work-life balance, relationship navigation, soul searching and contemplation, transitions between life moments (i.e. employed to unemployed, single to married, teenager to adulthood, etc), and raising emotional intelligence and training mindfulness.
I have also worked with researchers and therapists on the forefront of psychedelic advocacy and science, and continue to support and volunteer my energy towards advancing and protecting public health initiatives to bring opportunities for healing and self-improvement to anyone who wants it.
