Amy Jones

Licensed Professional Counselor -

Licensed in Missouri, Oregon and Colorado for virtual appointments and NEW limited in-person appointments available in East Brookside area of Kansas City, MO.
Masking is exhausting. When you’re masking who you are, you are fooling most of the others, and appear to fit in most of the time, but you’ll hear things through the grapevine or even directly– “Why is she so strange?” “Man that was rude.” “I couldn’t get a word in edgewise!” And wearing a mask, you’re like, no one really likes me for who I am, they don’t know me. They don’t hear me, they don’t understand me.
I’ve been a practicing human for more than 5 decades, who finally unmasked. My own experience is with undiagnosed AuDHD. I have a 90 lbs labradoodle named Neo and a 10 lbs cocky-bichapoo named Maya. I invite you to pour your comfort-drink, grab a fidget or a comfort object, and sit down to talk. I’ll hear you.
