Amanda’s passion and speciality is working with young women (ages 35 and under) with substance use disorders, depression, anxiety and trauma. Whether you struggle with social anxiety, self harm, low self worth or an eating disorder, Amanda is here to help. She is personally in recovery from an addiction and eating disorder and understands what it takes personally and professionally to maintain recovery at a young age.
Young women deal with and experience mental health issues and stress in a very distinct way. Often women are mis-diagnosed or misunderstood, and need a compassionate therapist who understands what she is going through. Through Amanda’s warm yet no-nonsense approach, she will provide you with the insight, knowledge and support to get out of your own way and begin healing.
