Allison Rosenberg
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - LMFT
I believe that living a life where you can be your authentic self is possible. Whether this is together as a family seeking deeper and more meaningful ways to connect with one another, or as an individual on a healing journey, it is truly an honor to help facilitate and witness the profound ability we have as humans to shift from surviving life to thriving in it.
I have extensive experience working in the mental health field, with an emphasis on attachment, relationships with self and others and trauma. I have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, eating disorder treatment as well as substance abuse treatment.
I am passionate about working with families and couples that are seeking to find more connection, trust and safety in their relationships with one another.
In addition, I also specialize in working with teens, young adults and individuals experiencing various life stressors, personal growth challenges, anxiety and trauma.
I have a special interest in working with women’s issues, the journey of motherhood and parents of preemie children.
I am trained in and utilize a variety of models of psychotherapy including Emotionally Focused Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, EMDR, Trauma Resiliency Model and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I often utilize a variety of mindfulness and somatic based tools throughout my sessions.
