Allison’s approach to therapy includes building rapport in a comfortable setting where she can assist her clients in working through their current situation to bring healing and start living out the changes they wish to make in their lives. Allison is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She has experience working with children, families, and individuals in a variety of issues such as trauma, attachment, stress management, foster care, adoption, and anxiety. She also provides parent coaching and support for children in the areas of trauma, emotional processing, self-regulation, and behavior management. Allison has a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Services from John Brown University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary. She is also trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children. She uses a combination of cognitive, attachment-based, and family systems therapy.
