Alicia Bradshaw
Marriage & Family Therapist Post Grad Intern under Supervision -
In order to keep my clients safe during Covid-19 pandemic I am *Currently only accepting new Open Path clients remotely.*As a bilingual Marriage and Family Therapy and Play Therapy Intern I enjoy helping individuals of all ages, couples, families, teens, parents and children. I provide a safe place for clients to share personal struggles, discover and build upon strengths, and work toward change. I work frequently with clients to help them resolve the following issues: Anxiety, Anger, Panic Attacks, Depression, PTSD, Marital conflicts, Parent-Child relationship difficulties, Sexual Abuse, Childhood Neglect.
I am able to help clients work through and eliminate acute Trauma symptoms (as a result of an accident, an assault, witnessing a violent event) with short term sessions through EMDR.
For relational difficulties I incorporate both EMDR and Attachment informed therapies by journeying with my client’s to healing by exploring with them their difficult family history or difficult intimate relationships. Client’s learn how their relationships have affected them emotionally over time. They then learn how to make the necessary personal and interpersonal changes that will help them to find connection and hope, and then the eventual confidence that will lead them on a trajectory towards accomplishing their life goals. I am able to include a Christian perspective in our work together if the client so chooses.
