Alexa Tennyson
Therapist - MA, LAMFT
I use a strengths-based approach in my work and adjust my therapeutic style based on the needs of my clients. I am non-judgmental, open minded, and optimistic. I strive to create a safe, honest, and respectful environment so my clients feel free to be open and authentic. I also believe laughter and humor can be helpful in therapy. I love working with couples, families, and teens on relationship and identity issues. In addition, I specialize in working with trans* and gender variant folks.
I made a career change to become a therapist and love my job! I enjoy working with people to help them reach their goals and the life they want to live. I learn something every day from the people with whom I work and am so grateful to be an intimate part of others’ lives. I am always humbled and amazed by how resilient people are and how they grow and change.
