Alejandra Barrientos

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist -

I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I have experience in the field of social services, which includes both clinical practice and administrative experience, particularly working with families in the areas of mental health, child abuse prevention, early intervention, and family centered services for over 10 years. I believe in empowering individuals and families to support their healing journey and well-being. I believe in providing an inclusive and safe space as well as authenticity. I am passionate about providing accessible and culturally appropriate mental health services through a social justice lens.

My clinical training includes using evidence-based practices to achieve positive outcomes. I am trained in Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP), Seeking Safety, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, and Crisis Management. I am eager to work with client on focusing and developing new coping skills to enrich and strengthen the quality of life for all individuals, children, and families.
