Whether it is working through past negative experiences, dealing with current conflicts in your life, or a need to work through internal conflicts of stress: having a compassionate and empathetic therapist can make the job easier and more successful. I provide compassionate and empathetic listening, while offering suggestions to work through the challenges in your life.
I have worked in the mental health field for 12 years, specializing in trauma and sex therapy. I completed my undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology at University of Illinois in May, 2002. In May 2011, I earned a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University along with a Post-Baccalaureate in Gender Violence Intervention. I finishing out my current round of education with a Sexual Health Certification from University of Michigan leading to becoming a Certified Sex Therapist in July, 2019.
